Seen from a low angle; one tuft per 0.3 m cell, as in the game. The mower pushes a bow wave ahead of the deck and its wheels flatten two lines; behind the deck the cut grass takes the stripe lean. The blade's air makes the grass shiver where it leaves the deck: a soft ripple front-right with a bag, a blast behind without one, a long jet to the right from a side chute (in the demo the mower goes left to right, so its right is down). The blow follows the blade's speed squared: let go of the bar mid-pass and it dies away over the run-down while the mower rolls on, no longer cutting. Recovery: ~3 s at 5 cm, ~10 s at 8 cm, ~40 s from 15 cm, ×1.5 when wet, ×(1 + 3 × scorch) when drought-stressed: the footprint test (pick "Drought-stressed" and walk). The numbers are a first pass, to be tuned in the sandbox.
