Plan

MVP plan

The order the MVP gets built: the tutorial's path, stage by stage ("the path first"), each stage ordered by what its codes need. Built codes get their polish pass when the path reaches them. Generated fromdocs/plan/plan.yaml and the roadmap.

    The lawn site

The J37a prototype, built in full first because it decides how every job starts (TU7) and ends (EC8): lawns on grandma's street in the hub instead of a separate job scene, or the fallback (job scenes made seamless); then two siblings on two lawns at once (J37f).

    The rough path

"The path first": every stage there, crude, so the game plays from the new game to the end before anything is deepened. Most of the path exists already; this pass adds the missing links roughly, on the lawn site or the fallback J37a chose. Each code comes back in its own stage for the full version.

When the MVP is finished

  • The whole path plays from the new game to the MVP's end (ST10), solo and in 2-player co-op, with guest mismatches 0.
  • Five fresh testers finish it with no help, and at least four want to keep playing.
  • No softlock: from any state a player can always go on (PL16, TU8), and no stage needs a restart.
  • Save and quit anywhere, load back to the same moment; old saves of the MVP load.
  • 60 fps at 1080p on the minimum-spec machine (to define), the dev Mac on Low until then.
  • Every line voiced and played once; no placeholder art, text or sound on the path.
  • Every MVP code is polished: the user played it and said so.
  • Settings that matter: volume, mouse sensitivity, invert, fullscreen, mono audio (SN1), grass detail (GR3).
